Very good food and very good wine

According to his own statement, star chef Laurent Durst, formerly Alte Sonne in Ludwigsburg, set about shaking up the Palatinate cuisine. And he does it excellently! Goat cheese and plum salad - imaginative. Beef tongue in caper sauce with Brussels sprouts - tender and very tasty! And the great wines from Jülg. Vaut un détour, as the French say.

The food was delicious, the wines were great, the lady of the house wasn’t the friendliness in person, you don’t really feel welcome. Everyone else was absolutely nice, waitresses, the boss ... Nevertheless, point deduction! Annoyed employees take my mood!

On Sunday in a family circle, for once, not the delicious schnitzel, but the cheeks with horseradish sauce, lentils & potato gratin - extremely delicious! Always a great pleasure - merci!

Excellent place with good service - especially the terrace is beautiful. The food is very good: Traditional dishes with a modern approach that offer something suitable for everyone. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu to share, as we came with a bigger group and it worked out perfectly. I can definitely recommend this place and am happy to come back as soon as possible!

Really nice ambiance. The food and the wines are super good and the service is very friendly. We had shrimps as starter which was really good and as maindish we had the best schnitzel! We can definitely recommend this place.

Unfortunately, we have again had the experience of not being welcome with children. This is particularly bitter when you see that a table is cleared for the older people who come after you.

Everyone complains about Corona, 30% and more minus and the Jülg closes in the main travel season. We understand that you have to rest now, but now during this time ??? Bought our wine elsewhere.

Exception weingut! The courtyard was a great setting to try different wines. Food is French and enjoyable. The Grauburgunder was the best I've had so far, even bought a few bottles to take home. Must stop.

Nice wine bar and very nice courtyard good food and decent wines, very well attended better to reserve. Prices higher than in the area, reason for the popularity, products and wines but typical for the area and not outstanding.

A dream garden around a fountain for the summer, regional catering on request, make this establishment a gem! We have our habits there for our greatest pleasure!

Typical upper-class ostrich shop in the Palatinate. Neat portions of excellent quality at fair prices. Funny friendly staff and winemaker Jülg and his wife let us try all the wines we want. People like to shop there, the wines with those of Friedrich / Fritz Becker are the measure of all things in town

Great backyard economy from the outside inconspicuous but great shady places and nice service the food is highly recommended and a delicious wine from the private vineyard. I was on a Wednesday because all seats were full that says a lot

Great choice of wine and food. Typical local food and fresh wine. The staff is very friendly so you feel more like sitting in a living room of a fried.
